Adventure
I grew up in the Norfolk countryside in the UK, spending weekends camping, riding motocross and enduro, and every summer piling into a van for road trips across Europe. The adventure, open roads, and nights under the stars weren't just a hobby — they were part of who I am.
When Covid hit, I did what any self-respecting van enthusiast would do: I built one. From scratch. That project deepened everything I already knew about what makes a great expedition vehicle, not just comfortable, but genuinely capable.

A few years ago, I was sitting with my father in Oman, watching the sun drop behind the Hajar Mountains with a drink in hand, when it hit me.
Why is there nothing like this here?
Oman is one of the most jaw-dropping countries on earth, ancient wadis, empty desert plains, dramatic coastline, mountain tracks that most vehicles wouldn't dare touch. And yet, to truly experience it, you either rough it with minimal gear or stay tethered to a resort.
There was a gap. A real one.

Every vehicle we offer is built for Oman's terrain. Off-road capable. Fully self-sufficient. Solar-powered. With hot showers, a proper toilet, and everything you need to disappear into the landscape for days at a time.
This isn't glamping. It's not a basic rental. It's the vehicle you wish you'd had every time you pulled up short of somewhere truly wild.

An engineer and lover of the great outdoors, Robert settled in Oman over a decade ago, enjoying its endless opportunities for adventure and the unmatched hospitality of the Omani people.
Abdullah Al Lawati

Abdullah is the soul of Horizon. Born and raised in Oman, he's an overland veteran who has traversed every corner of the Sultanate.
