Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility
Renters must be 25 years of age or older, hold a valid UAE/Oman or International Driving Permit for at least one year, and present valid identification at collection.

2. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed only after full rental payment and security deposit are received. Accepted methods include bank transfer, cards, or online payments. Prices are quoted in OMR or AED and include applicable taxes.

3. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of OMR 400 / AED 3,800 is required upon collection. It covers potential damages, fines, or late return fees and is refunded within 7–14 days after inspection.

4. Area of Operation
Vehicles are authorised for use within Oman. Travel to the UAE requires prior written approval and compliance with insurance terms. Unauthorized cross-border travel voids insurance.

​

5. Vehicle Use
Vehicles must not be used for racing, towing, or illegal activity. Off-road use is only permitted for designated 4×4 models under safe conditions.

​

6. Fuel Policy
Vehicles must be returned with a full tank. If not, refuelling costs plus a service fee of OMR 10 / AED 100 will be deducted from the deposit.

7. Insurance & Liability
Comprehensive insurance covers vehicle and third-party liability in Oman and UAE. Renters are liable for misuse, negligence, and damages not covered by insurance.

​

Optional Damage Waiver: OMR 15 / AED 150 per night.

​

8. Vehicle Condition & Inspection
An inspection report is completed at pickup and return. Vehicles must be returned clean and intact. Excessive dirt or smoking incurs up to OMR 50 / AED 500 cleaning fee.

9. Breakdown & Accidents
In the event of breakdown or accident, contact Horizon Campervans immediately. Do not authorise repairs without approval. All accidents must be reported to local police and the company within 24 hours.

​

10. Cancellations & Refunds
14+ days before pickup: full refund (minus fees). 7–2 days: 50% refund or reschedule. 

Less than 48h: no refund. Early returns non-refundable.

​

11. Late Return
A 1-hour grace period applies. Thereafter, OMR 50 / AED 500 per hour applies, up to one full day rate.

​

12. Termination
The company may terminate rentals for false information, non-payment, misuse, or unsafe conduct.

​

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Governed by UAE law (registered jurisdiction). Omani law applies to vehicles operating in Oman. Disputes handled by the relevant courts.
